ALEVISM EDUCATION

Alevism incorporates the ideas of Hakk - Muhammed – Ali and the path paved by the 12 Imams, into a philosophical ambition to become Hakk. Fundamental ideas that Alevis support are to control ones physical desires whether it literally be their hands or their loins and to control what one says to others. We act as we would want to people to act to us, we respect the labour of people and value our own labour in ways suitable to our philosophy. Alevis respect and understand the many differences among people whether it be religious, racial or political, since for Alevis all that exists in nature must be loved and looked after as mentioned in the principle of Vahdet-I Vucut, the existence of Hakk inside the person.
Alevis refer to each other as can which means living person, they disregard the physical features of people and accept them as humans all living with a passion and drive in this large and vast universe.
Some of the core practices of Alevis include the cem ceremony, dances of semah, the Baglama, giving ikrar, going through görgü, having a  Müsahip. Alevism is based on two fundamental social contracts the first being Talip- Rehber the second being Pir – Mürşit.
- Our faith is Alevism
- Our place of worship is the Cemevi
- Our means of worship is through Semah, the Baglama and in the Cem
- Our philosophies are centred around individual enlightenment and love
- The path determines how we live and the path is mutualistic and based on commitment
